Histories and Futures of Creativity
Presentations on collaborations in science, art, and technology
Science and technology without vision lead to the destruction of human values. Art without science and technology lacks the tools for penetrating modern complexities.
—György Kepes
I speak about what were, or are, bleeding edge ideas and technique. My presentations for 2025 incorporate a more ambitious emphasis on virtual worlds and media.
These talks consistently engage diverse audiences from those with minimal prior exposure to these topics, to professionals deeply involved in invention, R&D, and artistic innovation. My speaking experience includes engagements with The Museum Computer Network, The Andy Warhol Museum, MIT Design Thinking and Invention Professionals, SXSW, Association of Professional Futurists, and specialized groups in Austin and Marfa, Texas.
Themes: Technological humanism, speculative futures, speculative design, philosophy
