Refugee Resettlement
Humane and dignified futures
At the moment one of my focus areas is organizational consulting for an American refugee resettlement agency helping people who have left their home due to persecution, genocide, and conflict.
A handful of the organizations mandated by The U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) accepting referrals for refugees that are particularly vulnerable and in need of protection have been doing this work for decades, in partnership with a network of affiliate agencies and volunteers.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) estimates there are more than 120 million people forcibly displaced across the globe.
This work is particularly meaningful for many reasons.
